Clarity · Personal tutor

A personal tutor. Built around your question.

A question is a place to begin.

The point where something stops making sense is useful information. It tells us where an explanation should start.

Understanding changes the next question.

A drawing, a conversation, a step you try yourself: each can reveal what is clear and what still needs work.

Learning should carry forward.

What you understood yesterday should help shape what you practise tomorrow.

Clarity · The next chapter

The moment an answer
becomes your own.

I’m building Clarity around a simple idea: a personal tutor should respond to your question, your understanding and the day around you.

A question can become an explanation, an independent attempt, useful practice and a plan that fits real life. I want those moments to belong to one continuous learning experience.

01 / A conversation, in your own wordsClarity personal tutor

Stay with
the thought.

“Wait. Why do we divide by that number?”

Being able to interrupt matters. I want a learner to ask for a slower step, point out what is confusing, or try another example while the conversation keeps its context. The next explanation should follow what they actually need to understand.

Speech, text and visual explanations. One continuing question.
02 / A little further, on your ownClarity personal tutor

Find a step
you can take.

Understanding begins to show when you try.

A useful next step gives you a way back into the problem. I want Ariadne to respond to where you get stuck, offer a hint and leave room for your own attempt. What you try should guide what comes next.

A hint, a worked step and an independent answer each tell a different story.
03 / The world becomes a starting pointClarity personal tutor

Look closer.
See the connection.

What does this part do? How does it connect?

A computer mainboard brings the question into focus. A useful graphical explanation connects names to components, and components to their roles. My goal is to give a learner something they can inspect, point to and ask about, starting with the object in front of them.

From an everyday object to a visual explanation of how it works.
04 / An explanation can open a viewClarity personal tutor

Give curiosity
somewhere to go.

“Why does Mars look red?”

A question can lead to a landscape, a closer view or a diagram. I want each visual to clarify something specific: a relationship, a scale, a process. It should stay connected to the conversation, giving you somewhere to point when you ask again.

The question shapes the explanation. The next question can change it.
A closer look · App visualisation

An idea you can
look into.

When a subject has structure, its explanation should make that structure visible. A scene becomes a diagram. A relationship becomes something you can trace.

This visualisation comes from the app. It is one part of the experience I’m developing: explanations that give the next question somewhere to begin.

Yellow visual identity for Ariadne

Yellow · Explore the character concepts

A familiar presence. A personal choice.

One Ariadne.
Room to make it yours.

The six characters explore different visual identities for the same learning agent. I’m designing room to personalise Ariadne’s appearance, name and tone.

A presence you feel comfortable returning to, with your question and the context you choose to share kept together.

A conversation that keeps its place

Your thought.
Still with you.

A quick question on your iPhone. A spoken follow-up. More room on iPad to explore an explanation. The direction is one learning thread, with the question and the context you choose to share kept together.

The wider ambition

Give tomorrow
a starting point.

What you understand today should help shape what you practise next. I’m developing a learning system that connects those decisions over time.

  1. 01 / A question

    Begin where you are.

Bring the problem, the material and the part that doesn’t make sense yet.

  2. 02 / An attempt

    Make it your own.

Try a step yourself. Keep the help you used distinct from what you can explain independently.

  3. 03 / A next step

    Carry it forward.

Return to what needs practice, with a plan that respects your real deadlines and available time.

Your context. Your choice.

Choose what Ariadne may use and do. Supported changes within your permission should leave a visible record and an Undo option. Deletion and actions that reach other people ask separately.
