Selected work

From a school planner to a personal tutor.

I founded Audecius to make learning easier to navigate. The work starts with the school day and reaches toward a personal tutor that connects what someone needs to do with what they need to understand.

Clarity

Clarity School · Published Clarity 2 · In development

Clarity School is on the App Store. It brings calendars, homework, projects, grades, flashcards and a focus timer into one app, giving students a place to organise the practical side of their school day.

I’m developing the next generation around a personal AI tutor. Through Ariadne, I want a learner to ask a question in speech or text, explore a visual explanation, and work through the point where they are stuck.

The longer-term goal is a connected learning loop: a real deadline shapes a plan, practice reveals what needs attention, and that understanding helps determine the next exercise and study session. This is the direction of development.

Product leadership

Help people stay in control.

A useful suggestion should be understandable before it changes anything. These are the boundaries I design around: show the proposal, make permission clear, record the result, and offer undo where it is possible.

C0
ObserveNo execution path needed.
C1
SuggestThe person decides and acts.
C2
After your yesPreview and explicit approval before anything runs.
C3
Within your limitDaily budget, live permission, proof, and undo; never for other people.
C4
Only by a humanClarity may prepare, but never act on its own.

02 · Company

Audecius

I founded Audecius in August 2026 and fund it from my own savings. I lead the product and software development, working across Clarity, international exchange and open education data.

My ambition is to build software people can grow with: from organising a school day to understanding a difficult subject and finding their way through a new environment. Clarity is where that work starts.

03 · International programmes

Audecius Exchange

An international programme asks students, families, schools and organisations to coordinate across different expectations and systems. I’m developing Audecius Exchange around the work each of them needs to do.

My own year in Kansas is the starting point. The design gives each role its own workspace and keeps programme responsibilities distinct from a person’s private Clarity space.

Make school information usable.

I publish the German School System Dataset 2026/27 through Audecius Open. It brings information from Germany’s 16 federal states into structured, reusable data, with a permanent DOI and distributions on GitHub and Hugging Face. Each dated entry keeps its confidence label: 187 are traced to official sources; 193 describe typical patterns that were not confirmed for that school year.

In practice

What the work should make easier.

I keep returning to three questions: what does this person need to do, what do they need to understand, and how can the software help those two things meet?

01 · Product & software
Make the school day easier to navigate.A deadline, a task and a set of notes belong to the same afternoon. I build around those practical connections.
02 · Learning & AI
Make room for understanding.I’m developing Ariadne to work through a learner’s question using speech, text and visual explanations, with practice that helps reveal what needs attention.
03 · International perspective
Learn from different classrooms. My education in Germany and Kansas shapes how I think about learners, families, schools and the systems they have to navigate.
